These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Section Labs corporate website and the family of Section Labs consumer AI products (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

Individual products may have additional product-specific terms. Where those conflict with these Terms for a specific product, the product-specific terms govern for that product.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use the Services. Some products may require you to be 18 or older. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@sectionlabs.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.

Section Labs products provide informational insights generated by artificial intelligence. They are not medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for consultation with qualified professionals.

Do not rely on the Services for diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or emergency decisions. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

AI-generated results can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for how you use insights the Services provide.

You agree not to: (a) use the Services in violation of any law; (b) upload content you do not have the right to use, including images of other people without their consent; (c) attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Services; (d) use the Services to build a competing product; (e) generate or distribute content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that impersonates others; or (f) submit information intended to manipulate or bypass safety systems.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of the content you submit ("User Content"), including images and text.

You grant Section Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display your User Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the specific product you are using, and to comply with law.

We do not use sensitive product inputs (such as images of your face, skin, hair, or body) to train unrelated general-purpose AI models. Any use of aggregated or de-identified data for product improvement is limited to that purpose.

Given the nature of generative AI, output may be similar across users and may not be unique to you. To the extent Section Labs holds rights in output produced for you, we assign to you the rights we can assign, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on or sharing it and for ensuring your use complies with law.

The Services, including software, models, designs, text, graphics, and trademarks, are owned by Section Labs or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

Some Services or features require payment. Fees, billing cycles, and cancellation terms are presented at purchase. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees and taxes.

We may change pricing prospectively with reasonable notice.

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their terms and policies.

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision of the Services becomes impractical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SECTION LABS AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE APPLICABLE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Section Labs and its affiliates from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-product or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
